spring by the numbers

You know that Spring is here when:

1. It doesn’t snow once in March. In Minneapolis. For the first time since 1878. Seriously, it was 80F today.

2. All you want to make is food that takes you to sunny, far away places.

3. You keep eyeing up clothes of the flowery and summery variety.

4. You suddenly have green fingers and an urge to grow tomatoes.

5. You grill outside for the very first time this year. Happy, happy days.

What signifies Spring to you?

First day warm enough to drink iced coffee!

Scotland really doesn't get very warm or sunny in spring (or summer) but I am loving daylight savings :D

Yummm on the grilled onions & asparagus!

I can't believe it–it's warmer there than it is here! It's freezing this week. But last week was Spring-like: flowers blooming and the sun shining!

Whoa! No snow in March? That's crazy! Even here in KC, MO we got a random storm over a weekend and accumulated ten inches of the white stuff.

Your grilling veggies look like heaven itself.
