I’m back after spending a few days away from here on Madeline Island (in Lake Superior). It was as breath taking as ever so I thought you might like to see some photos I took on my phone.

Oh, Madeline Island looks just lovely! It’s so fun to think of it sitting out on the “other” side of Lake Superior — “other” because I’m Canadian and we drove around our northern side of Lake Superior to move from Ottawa to Vancouver Island three years ago. It was late April, but I remember how even then, Lake Superior was gorgeous with blue, blue water . . . Glad you had a good time on your side of the lake!

It is a truly “must see” place – the lake is so great and beautiful. I am lucky to have been born here.
